On March 28, 2025, a meeting of the international online seminar "Artificial Societies and Information Technologies" was held, dedicated to the report of Xin Liang (Shanghai Jiao Tong University).
Speech topic: Research on Behavioral Mechanisms and Intervention Policies Based on Modeling and Simulation Methods
The meeting was attended by representatives of the CEMI RAS, Moscow State University, Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Southampton.
Brief abstract:
As social systems becoming increasingly complex, traditional analytical methods are limited in analyzing complex system. Modeling and simulation methods offer new perspectives and tools for this problem. This lecture focuses on "Behavioral Mechanisms and Intervention Policies," exploring how advanced modeling and simulation methods can be used to understand the mechanisms behind complex social behaviors and formulate effective public policies through the "Risk-Behavior-Policy" chain.
