About us

Regular international online-seminar “Artificial societies and information technology” conducted by the members of Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow and Chinese Academy of Sciences, also Department of Mathematical Methods for Economic Analysis, Faculty of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University.  The seminar was attended by leading researchers in the field of agent-based modeling from Brazil, South Korea, France, India, Colombia, Bulgaria, China, Norway, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and other countries.

Methodology

The main goal of the paper is to summarize selected developments in the field of artificial societies and agent-based modeling and suggest how this fundamentally new toolkit can contribute to solving some of the most complex scientific and practical problems of our time.
